THE STORY IN THE BOX

One coin. Life, death and hidden intentions.

As Grim Reapers in the plague-stricken kingdom of Vita Mors, decide who lives and who dies. Conceal your allegiance, read the characters’ true classes and use votes and privileges to influence the verdict. This commemorative edition preserves the original game while upgrading its box, scratch-resistant cards and antique-finish metal coins. The Villains expansion is included.

READY, SET, PLAY.

How to play

Check your allegiance and mission

Secretly check your party and its public Mission Card. Players are Grim Reapers; the Character Cards are patients awaiting judgement.

Diagnose, vote and use privileges

The active player reveals a character from a class deck and makes the doctor’s diagnosis. Everyone secretly votes with a coin, then chooses in order whether to use a privilege before revealing votes.

Deliver the verdict

Resolve life or death using votes and character powers; the doctor breaks voting ties. Check missions before passing the turn. If several parties complete missions together, apply the rulebook’s priority order.
